Oh! how I will miss you', PJ.

My dear friend, You often said that we were the only two left who could talk hurling and Gaelic football and now you are gone. Who can I talk to now on Sunday evenings about Christy Ring or Mick Mackey and the great era that was the forties and fifties and a great Ireland where we were priveledged to spend our youth. Sunday nights will be lonely, how we loved to analise the results, hour long conversations drifting from sport to who knew what, varied subjects but never politics. We wisely acknowledhged we were poles apart and that was ok. You were a great talker and most importantly a great listener. At the end of our weekly chat you would invariably say,"well. Jimmy, I guess we covered a lot to night.". I'm sure you will find some Dublin suppoters up there, and please dont be too hard on the Kerry guys. I am very sad, PJ, but the memories are forever. You were one great guy, Jimmy O'Mara.
